Structure
The palace , built on a late -19th century building, is located in Chianalea district. Due to its location, it has always been used as a fishermen's house. The basement was used as a shelter for boats and tools useful for exercising this ancient and fascinating profession. The grandeur of the structure allowed to restore it to our days in perfect condition, survived the tsunami of 1908 unscathed. The renovation was carried out maintaining the original structure, recovering ornaments and decorations from the twentieth century.
The complex is decorated with Seminara ceramic furnishings, wrought iron and wood finishes, all produced by local crafts. The structure, in its architectural balance, represents an excellent solution in terms of comfort, enjoyment and hospitality. The view from the terraces overlooking the sea allows guests to enjoy the splendid marine panorama and allows you to almost touch the imposing Rocks of the Cyclops. A landscape which, due to its peculiarities, has inspired Greek mythology and stimulated the imagination of poets, writers and painters. In the alleys of the historic village of Chianalea it is impossible to circulate with cars and this allows guests to take long walks in the characteristic fishermen's district, away from the stressful traffic and chaos of the city.
